Guide Share Europe (GSE) UK Region and the Open Mainframe Project established a strategic collaboration last year to advance mainframe technology and education. This partnership is exemplified by Open Mainframe Project’s dedicated track at the GSE UK In-Person Conference held from November 4-7, 2024, at Whittlebury Hall. The event attracted more than 600 attendees, featuring presentations and hands-on sessions that underscored the mainframe’s critical role in enterprise computing across various industries.
The conference agenda included sessions led by Open Mainframe ambassadors and contributors, covering topics such as Zowe, COBOL Check, zopen community and more.
