A look back at GSE UK

By December 3, 2024December 5th, 2024No Comments

The GSE UK In-Person Conference was hosted at Whittlebury Hall on November 4-7.  Around 611 attendees attended cutting-edge presentations and hands-on sessions that showcased the vibrancy of mainframes, the ecosystem surrounding it and the critical role it plays in enterprise computing for industries like finance, healthcare and logistics.

The energy at GSE UK created a collaborative, inclusive, and forward-thinking vibe that made it easy to connect with other attendees and see their passion for all things enterprise IT and mainframes. More than 600 people attended the event with 172 speakers from all around the world.  Check out some of the other stats:

611

For the first time ever, Open Mainframe Project had a stream at the conference with presentations focused on open source leadership, best practices and our projects including Galasa, Zowe, Zorse, zopen community and more. We had 349 attendees across 20 sessions. If you missed the event, you can watch most of the videos on the new GSE UK playlist on Open Mainframe’s Youtube Channel. Or, swipe through our photo album on Flickr!

Thank you to all of the Open Mainframe speakers for their engaging presentations. We’d like to give a special shoutout to the programming committee for their leadership in creating a great schedule!
